Retail Sales Assistant (Casual/Part-Time with potential for Full-Time)
Are you passionate about customer service, and working in a friendly, fast-paced environment? Yass Valley Stockfeeds is looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our growing business.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Providing outstanding customer service.
* Serving customers and operating the point-of-sale system.
* Restocking shelves and maintaining store presentation.
* Lifting and handling stock, including feed bags and rural supplies. Must comfortably lift 25kg regularly.
* Assisting customers with loading purchases.
* Keeping the store clean, organised, and welcoming. Performing deliveries to customers places also.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This is non negotiable.
* Is reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
* Enjoys working with people and as part of a team.
* Can comfortably perform manual handling and heavy lifting.
* Has excellent communication skills.
* Retail or rural industry experience is an advantage but not essential—we’re happy to train the right person.
* Willing to obtain or has a forklift licence.
* Must have a manual drivers licence.
