n Derwent Valley Council’s page, we ask you to be polite and respectful at all times. We welcome your comments and hope this page helps create clearer communication between Council and the community. Moderation
Council reserves the right to remove certain content such as illegal or offensive material and we do moderate where needed. Material that is unreasonably critical of Council and any comments of a political nature will be deleted. By liking this page, please observe the following rules to ensure your voice is heard.

🚫 Don’t harass, insult, abuse, attack, make unreasonably critical comments or threaten other visitors, people or organisations
🚫 Don’t be a nuisance, pest or troll
🚫 Don’t discuss ongoing legal proceedings including any real or perceived internal or Code Of Conduct investigations
🚫 No posting of personal information about another person, including name, if they have not already provided it. This includes identifying a member of Council staff by name
🚫 Don’t gossip about or slander other people or organisations. These are comments that harm the reputation of a person or organisation
🚫 Don’t post comments that are likely to offend others, particularly in reference to an individual’s race, age, gender, sexuality, political leaning, religion or disability
🚫 Don’t use obscene or offensive language
🚫 Don’t post repeat comments continuously
🚫 Don’t use our page to sell or promote commercial interests, solicitations, advertisements or endorsements of any non-governmental agency. We reserve the right to remove comments that the moderator believes include any of these. This page is not monitored 24/7 (including evenings, weekends and public holidays).
