Year 1-2 had a great time exploring the township of Proston this morning as part of their HASS unit: “Connection to Place”. Students explored how different people are connected to places in their local community as well as how and why they access different services and businesses. They saw the Spar receive a delivery of stock, which was fascinating and sparked great conversations about how products make their way into stores for people to purchase. We were also lucky enough to be invited in to explore the Post Office, NB Inspirations, the Community and Information Centre, The Proston Heritage Collection centre and Proston Village Hair Design. Thank you for having us!
