🧡 A Sea of Orange in Brisbane! 🧡

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers who proudly represented our Region at today's Queensland SES 50-Year Parade in Brisbane.

Seeing so many dedicated SES members gathered together created a truly inspiring sight — a beautiful visual of orange stretching through the city, representing 50 years of service, commitment, and support to Queensland communities.

Today was an opportunity to celebrate our rich history, honour those who have served before us, and recognise the volunteers who continue to make a difference every day.
Thank you for representing our Region with pride and for your ongoing dedication to helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.

🏅 Celebrating the Heart of the SES – Our Volunteers 🏅

This weekend, Central Region proudly hosted two SES Awards Ceremonies, providing an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible commitment, dedication and service our volunteers provide to their communities every single day.

These ceremonies are a chance to acknowledge the countless hours, hard work, professionalism and selfless contributions that our members make in support of others, often during some of the most challenging times our communities face.
We were honoured to present a range of National Medals, Emergency Response Medals, Meritorious Service Medals, Citations, SES Awards and Certificates to deserving members.
