Applications are now open for a 2027 Auto Electrical Apprenticeship at Daunia Mine in Moranbah, commencing January 2027. This is a full-time, 4-year fixed-term opportunity for someone ready to learn the trade, gain practical experience and work towards a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.

This apprenticeship is a great pathway for a motivated person with a strong interest in mechanical or auto electrical work, especially recent school leavers ready to take the next step after school.

Through a structured, industry-specific training plan, the successful applicant will learn on the job from experienced professionals while developing the skills needed to work safely and confidently in a mining environment.

You’ll need to bring a safety-first mindset, good communication skills, motivation to learn and the ability to work well in a team. Local residents are encouraged to apply, and DIDO applicants must be living locally within the Isaac Region.
