Our Unit provides a Primary Road Crash Rescue reponse from Little Swanport to the Denison River . A secondary reponse of Storm and Flood emergency , Land Search , Communication and logistical support to other emergency services is provided municipal wide. NVW26 Our local Swansea Emergency Services showcased their capabilities .
Our amazing dedicated SES team undertook a road rescue extrication display removing 2 patients from a vehicle before carrying the last patient to the awaiting rescue helicopter as it landed.
Huge Thankyou to Matt Massie ( Swansea Police ) for organising the arrival of the helicopter, our volunteers from Swansea Volunteer Fire Brigade Freycinet Volunteer Marine Rescue , the Eastcoast Salvo's for the BBQ , the crew from Starflight, our casualties Armit and Jen, East Coast Towing Swansea for the car with delivery and pickup and of course the community that came out to watch and support our emergency services personnel.
We are part of an amazing community Thanks for sharing it with us .
