Today, Miss Spinelli had the pleasure of joining our preschool friends for lunch at Bush Kinder! 🌿🍎

Transition doesn’t only happen within our preschool and school settings—it happens through the connections we build across our wider community. Opportunities like these allow our future Kindergarten students to become familiar with the people, places and faces that will be part of their journey, helping them feel a strong sense of belonging and connection. 💛

It was so lovely to share lunch, laughter and conversations together, strengthening the special relationship between our preschool, school and community. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful community supporting our little learners as they take their first steps towards school. 🌱✨

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Riverina Athletics Carnival 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Congratulations to all our amazing TPS students who travelled to Albury today to compete at the Riverina Athletics Carnival! 💙💛

What an achievement to represent Tocumwal Public School at this level! We are incredibly proud of the effort, determination and sportsmanship you all showed throughout the day. 👏🌟

🎨✏️ TPS at the Finley Show! ✏️🎨

TPS has entered some fantastic artwork and handwriting into the Finley Show this year! 🖼️✨

The Finley Show is this Sunday and is a wonderful way to spend Father’s Day with the family. 👨‍👧‍👦💙

TPS also has a beautiful school display put together by our amazing Mrs Gowty. A huge thank you to Mrs Gowty for all the time and effort you have put into it — especially for giving up your day off to put it all together! 💙💛 It looks absolutely fantastic! 👏

🌋 Volcanoes in Year 4! 🌋

Year 4 had a fantastic time getting hands-on with science as we explored how volcanoes work and what happens during an eruption.

After learning about the forces beneath the Earth’s surface, students created their own mini volcanic eruptions using bi-carb soda and vinegar. There was plenty of excitement as we watched our volcanoes bubble, fizz and erupt! 🧪💥

A fun (and slightly messy!) way to bring our learning about the Earth’s changing surface to life. 🌍🌋

📚🎨 Book Week at TPS! 🎨📚

Last Wednesday, TPS celebrated Book Week with a range of creative Zart Art activities inspired by CBCA Shortlisted Books. 📖✨

Our students had an amazing time exploring their creativity and creating some truly amazing masterpieces! 🖌️🎨

It was fantastic to see so much imagination and enthusiasm from our students. A huge well done to all our budding artists! 💙💛

📚✨ Book Week at TPS! ✨📚

Last Friday, TPS celebrated Book Week with our annual Book Character Dress-Up Parade! 📖🎭

We saw some amazing, creative and colourful costumes, with our students bringing their favourite book characters to life. 🌟

A huge well done to everyone involved for getting into the Book Week spirit and making it such a fun and memorable day! 💙💛📚

🥩 A BIG THANK YOU TO THE ORIGINAL BEEF CHIEF! 🥩

Tocumwal’s very own Beef Chief Jerky has very generously donated an amazing range of their beef jerky for our upcoming P&C Father’s Day Stall! 💙

These generous donations make such a difference to the success of our fundraising. Every extra dollar raised comes straight back to our school - helping fund the things and opportunities that our kids get to enjoy and benefit from throughout the year.

It really does take a village, and we’re incredibly lucky to have local businesses and community members who continue to get behind our little school and our kids. 🥰

A huge thank you to The Original Beef Chief for supporting us - we know there’ll be some very happy dads getting beef jerky this Father’s Day! 😂🥩

📮 A HUGE thank you to Sharon and Paul from Tocumwal Australia Post for once again donating so many fantastic goodies to our Father’s Day Stall!

Thanks to their incredible generosity, our stall is looking extra plump this year - with plenty of great gifts for all the special dads, grandads and father figures in our children’s lives. 💙

They have also made a very generous contribution towards our upcoming raffle, which is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever! 👀🎟️

It’s the generosity of our local businesses, families and wider community that allows the P&C to help fund things like excursion buses, new laptops and laptop upgrades. Every donation and every purchase makes a genuine difference to our children!
