It was a busy weekend for our dedicated Deputy Commanders Kris and Theresa who travelled to Wagga Wagga, to commence the Commander Onboarding Program. 🧡 This was a wonderful opportunity to meet up with Unit and Deputy Unit Commanders from our zone to share ideas and gain a better understanding of the requirements that come with their leadership roles.
Thank you to Shane Hargrave and the Southern Zone Staff for their informative presentaion and to the NSW SES Wagga Wagga Unit for being wonderful hosts. 💛💙

🧡🚒 A big thank you to Tocumwal's Little Explorers for having us visit this week for Wear Orange Wednesday! 🧡👷‍♂️👷‍♀️ Our members were greeted with an awesome banner, homemade "thankyou" buscuits and beautiful pictures colored in by the children . 🥰
Our volunteers had a fantastic time showing the children around the truck and sharing what we do as SES volunteers. It’s always a pleasure to connect with the next generation and see their excitement and curiosity. 😊
We really appreciate your support this WOW Day – and thank you for helping us spread awareness about the work we do in the community!

Coffee, treats, and a whole lot of love! ☕🍰 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended or donated to our Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser. 💛💙 We raised OVER $500 ! 🥰 Every cup shared brings us one step closer to a cancer-free future. Thank you for your generosity! 💛💙
A special shout out to our volunteers who helped set up and run our little event and to our wonderful bakers, incuding our talented SES volunteers , Samantha M and the girls from Noonans Jewellers. Today, we celebrate the incredible mums of the Tocumwal SES Unit,
we truly appreciate your dedication and your commitment. 🧡Thank you for everything you do for the NSW SES 🙏
Behind so many orange uniforms is a mum making sacrifices quietly, putting others first, and helping their community when they need it most.

Our thoughts are with the families, friends, and colleagues affected by last night’s tragedy in Ballina.
We are saddened by not only the loss of 2 members of Marine Rescue NSW but also the loss of life from the vessel they were responding to.
The loss of fellow volunteers is felt profoundly across our entire emergency services community.
We extend our deepest condolences to everyone at Marine Rescue NSW and to all those effected by this tragedy.
Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
