We had a lovely surprise today when Spud dropped by during his walk. 😊 Spud is a beloved North Shore resident and a big Cowboys fan. Someone we’ve known and loved for many years. You’ll often see him out and about with his grandparents while his mum and dad are at work.

In just a few weeks, Spud will be back on all four paws and retiring the chariot, although he looks pretty cozy in it.

If you happen to spot Spud around the neighbourhood, be sure to give him a wave or a fist bump. He’s always happy to see some friendly faces.

North Shore is growing again 🤝

Oreana has lodged a development application with Council proposing a new shopping centre at 13 Market Street, Burdell, right next to Woolworths.

Subject to Council approval, here is what is on the table:

🛒 Supermarket
🏬 Discount department store
🍷 Liquor store
🏪 3 mini majors
🛍️ 27 specialty shop tenancies
🍔 10 food outlets
🥦 Fresh food shop
🚗 728 car parking spaces

The site spans 65,000sqm with 17,000sqm of net lettable area.

The proposal also includes the connection of Nexus Drive, paving the way for future housing, commercial and community growth in the precinct.

The DA is now moving through Council's assessment process.
