🌟 We're Hiring! Casual Support Worker 🌟

Due to continued growth, Absolute Care & Social Support is once again looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Support Worker to join our team.

Hours are negotiable; however, applicants will need to have a good range of availability, including weekends.

This role is primarily community-based, supporting participants with community access, appointments, shopping, social activities, domestic duties and working towards their individual goals. There may also be opportunities to assist with our group programs and day centre activities within our hub.

If you have a creative side and enjoy arts and crafts, games, cooking, social activities, and helping people have fun while building skills and confidence, additional hours may be available through our group programs.

What we're looking for:

✅ Flexibility and initiative
✅ A passion for supporting people to achieve their goals
✅ Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
✅ Relevant checks and qualifications (or willingness to obtain)

We are excited to launch this fantastic new program designed to build independence, confidence, and everyday life skills.

Participants will be supported to:
🛒 Plan their meals
💰 Budget for ingredients
🛍️ Shop in the community
👩‍🍳 Prepare and cook delicious meals of their choice
❄️ Learn safe freezing and storage techniques
🥗 Understand meal portions and what foods go together to create a complete meal

This program helps develop:
