A new Olive Oil a lot of people are talking about…

We now stock Pangallo Estate olive oil, produced in the Hunter Valley at Richmond Vale by the Pangallo family, who began planting vines and olive trees there back in 1999.

The story behind it is down to earth - an Italian family heritage carried into Hunter, with a focus on wine, olives, food and gathering people around the table. Not overcomplicated. Just good produce made carefully.

The packaging is a stand out - classic and bold it’s the sort of bottle you want on any well dressed table.

The real appeal is the local connection. We love stocking products with a genuine Hunter story behind them, particularly when they come from people who have spent decades building something quietly and properly.

Now available in store and served on our food.

Three amazing people help keep this place running at all times of the day. When Shea is not around they are the ones we depend on.

James and Ash are the supervisors at the front of house - between them one is always in the store. And Shell is the lead in the kitchen ploughing through all the prep work and cooking for the day. 🙏🏽

When you next see them give them a wink or a friendly smile - they probably won’t know why - they’ll only think it’s strange until everyone does it 😉

Thursday is a fun night at WGS - informal Pool comp, games, dinner menu and drinks. The menu rotates so there are different items every few weeks.

Come along one night - and if you can’t make Thursday we can do it all again Friday and Saturday.

Sometimes we just need to take stock, stand back, and look at some of the beautiful pieces produced at the Artisan Barn.

Handbags, lampshades, (a beautiful little dog), artwork, dried flowers, ceramics, linen products, and more…

It’s a wonderful environment to work in, and an inspiration to shop 🙏🏽

The shadowy figures of an early morning coffee run on a bleak-foggy-wintery day in Wollombi Valley.

It was a popular day for take outs as day like these scream sleep in.

James, Shell and Starr prep for the day at 7am - and fresh baked muffins were on the table before all the commotion.
