Resumption of 2nd Academic Session 2026. All the students and teachers safely returned for the 2nd term. The school warmly welcomed them and wished for a successful term ahead.

Four Day Summer Table Tennis Coaching Camp successfully ended today. In a concluding ceremony the participants were awarded certificates. The school would like to thank the Sport Coach of Rongthung PS for initiating such a wonderful program for children during the break.

Table Tennis Coaching Camp for the students aged 10 - 15 years were started today. The camp is being initiated by Sports Instructor of Rongthung PS. The four day camp primarily focused on the basic skill development of table tennis play and to keep students engaged during the break. A total of 22 participating students from Rongthung PS, Jampeling CS and Trashigang MSS were attending the camp, which will conclude on 4th June, 2026.

As the students prepare to go for their summer break starting 30th June, til 14th July 2026 the school feeding program organized a sumptuous closing lunch for them. The school wished them a wonderful summer vacation.

The Legacy Behind :
In 2021 sir Rinchen Wangdi( currently at Kanglung PS) took extensive initiative in plantation of tree saplings and ornamental plants in the school campus of Rongthung PS. Today after 4-5years, we see the campus being beautified by the flowering plants and added to the greeneries of the school and environmentally sound for academic learning.

Similarly Mr. Samten Dendup also took a similar initiative in 2018 in planting these organic local plum trees. Today it gives an abundant fruits which support the school's mess in providing local organic fruit. Every year, since it started fruiting in 2023, it has made the student enjoy having the fruit grown within the school campus. They also learn the value of taking care of plants and fruit trees and having local and organic fruits. Thanks to both the teachers for their great initiatives.

As the Midterm Examinations begin tomorrow, students were briefed on the examination rules and regulations ( dos & don'ts) in the afternoon today. The program was attended by the teachers and staff, and students. The briefing was facilitated by the school Exam Focal Teacher.
