From collecting nearly 3,000 lbs of Qurbani meat to serving families across Calgary, our Eid volunteers made an incredible impact this year.

This weekend, we had the pleasure of celebrating these dedicated volunteers and their families at Fish Creek Park with a potluck gathering and certificate presentation.

Thank you to every volunteer and every family member who supported this effort. Together, you helped share the blessings of Eid with our community.

Alhamdulillah! Through the generosity of our donors, the support of local meat shop owners, and the dedication of 30+ volunteers, this year's Qurbani Meat Distribution Campaign was a tremendous success.

📦 Around 3,000 lbs of Qurbani meat collected

🏪 30 participating grocery and meat stores across Calgary

🏡 200 families served

From collection and storage to packaging and delivery, every step was made possible by a community that cares.

As the world's biggest sporting event arrives on Canadian soil, ICNA Canada teams from east to west are preparing for something bigger than football.

From Vancouver to Toronto and beyond, our volunteers will be engaging with fans from around the world, sharing meaningful conversations about faith, purpose, peace, and the message of Islam.

A few members of our Calgary Dawah team will be joining our brothers and sisters in Vancouver to support outreach efforts around World Cup venues, while our local team will be present at watch parties and community gatherings here in Calgary.

Moments like these don't come often. When people from every corner of the globe come together, it becomes an opportunity to build bridges, answer questions, and share the beauty of Islam through genuine human connection.

Alhamdulillah for a wonderful day at the Lilac Festival! 🌸

Our booth was filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, curious questions, henna, snacks, smiles, and lots of laughter. We were grateful for the opportunity to engage with people from all walks of life and share conversations about faith, life, and purpose.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit us, and special appreciation to our dedicated volunteers who covered multiple shifts throughout the day. Even a spell of rain couldn't stop the energy and enthusiasm!

May Allah accept everyone's efforts and continue to make us a means of bringing people together and building understanding.
