Cochrane Fire Fighters Association - Ensuring the safety and well being of the residents and visitor

The Cochrane Fire Fighters’ Association (CFFA) was formed on September 23rd 2010 after a successful vote by the staff members to affiliate with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). We joined a group representing approximately 300,000 other fire fighters who are responsible for protecting 85% of the population of North America. There are over 3200 individually affiliated groups, o

f which Cochrane has been designated Local 4819. The CFFA is also affiliated with the Alberta Fire Fighters Association (AFFA) who represents a more focused perspective of fire fighting issues in Alberta. The AFFA is comprised of 17 Locals in the province and has approximately 3700 members.

Members of the Cochrane Fire Fighters’ Association were proud to lace up and hit the lanes today in support of the Bow Valley Special Olympics. 🎳

This incredible event helps raise funds so local athletes can continue to compete, grow, and shine in a variety of sports. To help raise funds, a silent auction has been established. Your support truly makes a difference — please see the link in our bio. Any contribution is greatly appreciated. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by yesterday to support our Food Drive for Legacy Place. Your generosity helps make a real difference for first responders and military members in need.

We’ll be back collecting food and hygiene products again today, tomorrow, and the next day from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Save-On-Foods, Cochrane.

🚒 First responders don’t like to leave anyone behind — help us support those who support you in your time of need.

Join us at the Cochrane Fire Hall as we welcome our brand new fire engine! 🚨

As tradition goes, we’ll be performing the ceremonial “push-in” at 11:00 a.m. — a time-honoured fire service ritual where firefighters roll the new truck into the hall for the very first time.

Stick around for our Open House, tour the station, and meet the dedicated firefighters who proudly protect the Town of Cochrane. 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒
