🚧 Planning a visit to Chedoke Radial Trail? The municipal parking lot at 1180 Scenic Drive is closed due to construction for essential reservoir coating and repair work. The project is expected to run through mid-April 2027 and helps maintain safe, reliable water service for our community.

What to expect during construction:

👉 There will be no impact to the safe and continuous water supply to homes and businesses.
👉 Access to the Scenic Reservoir will be restricted throughout the project.
👉 Temporary access restrictions may occur on the Chedoke Radial Trail between Beddoe Dr and Scenic Dr during construction mobilization and demobilization.
👉 The trail will remain open, but during active work periods, pedestrians may need to share access with construction vehicles. Please use caution.

Hamilton Water will be completing watermain maintenance work near 3575 Governors Road starting tomorrow (October 15) at 8am. During the work, there will be lane restrictions on Governors Rd from Woodhill Rd to Lynden Rd. Work is expected to wrap up by 3pm tomorrow.

Hamilton Water will be responding to an emergency water service line replacement near 780 King St W starting tomorrow (October 9) at 8am. During the replacement, there will be lane restrictions and a full bike lane closure on King St W from Macklin St to Paradise Rd.

Work is expected to wrap up by 3pm tomorrow.

A “spill” is anything abnormal that enters a sewer or storm drain system — like oil, concrete wash water or debris.
 
Storm drains connect directly to local waterways, so these materials don’t just disappear. They can cause pollution, flooding and damage to the system, while affecting water quality.
 
Reporting spills helps protect our waterways and makes sure cleanup costs don’t fall on taxpayers.
 
If you see discoloured water or suspicious dumping into a catch basin or storm drain, say something.
 
Call the City’s Spill Reporting Line at 905-540-5188. We take calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the event of a spill.
