Vigil for the Flood Victims of Nepal 🇳🇵

Please join us as we come together in solidarity, remembrance, and compassion for those affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.

Organized by the South Asian Heritage Association of Hamilton & Region (SAHAHR) and the Nepali Graduate Students of McMaster University, this vigil is an opportunity for our community in Hamilton to stand together and support those in need.

$4,000+ raised so far! All funds raised will be sent to the Nepal's Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support flood-affected communities. Receipts and documentation will be shared for transparency.

To help us prepare sufficient refreshments and other arrangements, please register in advance.

It is a day to remember the children who never returned home, honour survivors and their families, and take time to listen, learn, reflect, and renew our commitment to reconciliation.

Hamiltonians at West Harbour to honour First Nations, Inuit and MĂ©tis Survivors, their families and communities, and reflect on the history and ongoing legacy of residential schools.
