From September 9th through 13th two of our KRFD members put their strength and energy to the test competing in the FireFit World Championships. Probationary FireFighter Nate Ecker competed in the men’s individual races for the first time, finishing his last run with a time of 1:48.08, a personal best by 10 seconds. Our Lieutenant Joel English competed in a team relay helping his team finish their run at 1:28.21, securing a bronze medal. We are so proud of both of our members for their hard work and their success, this is only the beginning! We would also like to thank many of our other members who have spent the last 5 days volunteering at this event, making it possible. You make KRFD proud!
