That’s a wrap on our 2026 School Presentations!

As always, it has been a pleasure to continue our work in collaboration with both schools boards, WCDSB and WRDSB, in faciliating presentations in schools across our Region.

Within our usual 8 months, this year, Karyn and Jenny have worked collaboratively, diligently and supportively with one another, school staff, the school boards, and our WRSPC team to provide great information and resources to Grade 7 (and some grade 8) students, supporting over 4,000 students in total!

In a wrap-up interview with one another, Karyn and Jenny share some of their experiences from the 2026 school year. Thank you to all participating schools for having us and we are looking forward to returning next year! 📚

Risk factors are condition, circumstances, or experiences that may increase the likelihood that someone experiences suicidal thoughts or behaviours. It's important to remember that there is no single cause for su***de, and a person's interaction with risk factors will change throughout their lifetime.

Most importantly, if someone has risk factors and is displaying warning signs for su***de- check in. Have a caring conversation with them, and if needed, connect them to help and support.

Canada's Su***de Crisis Helpline, 988, is just a call or text away.
