We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating Edith yesterday! Edith's dedication to seeing Loon Lake gain a public library is something to admire! Her hard work and commitment has added so much value to the community of Loon Lake. From a small book exchange in the meat market in the 60's, to the regional public library on main street you see today, it's all because of her desire to promote literacy in her home town and her commitment to see it happen 🩷 Thank you Edith!
And thank you to everyone who was able to make it out yesterday and show Edith how much she is appreciated! Thank you to our board members who helped make the event possible. Thank you to Mayor Hirschfeld and MLA Jeremy Harrison for sharing words of gratitude to Edith! It was great to celebrate something so wonderful!

Don't forget to join us for this special afternoon!

Please save the date and plan to celebrate with Edith! She is the reason Loon Lake has a library and she has served faithfully as the librarian and then a board member for many years!
