Yesterday, Maple Ridge Firefighters were proud to support the Joint Forces Jamboree alongside other first responders and local youth.

The Police vs. Fire game didn’t start in our favour, going down 2-0 early, but the Fire crew came back in the second half to win 6-2 over the cops.

Thank you to Nicole O’Brien for continuing her late husband Constable Rick O’Brien’s legacy through this event.

Special shoutout to Logan for being our awesome 'door keeper' during our Police vs Fire game!

Join us in congratulating Youth Academy 25-26!

After 30 weeks of hard work, dedication, and hands-on training, our Youth Academy program has officially come to an end this year with graduation day. Throughout the program, participants challenged themselves through physical training, teamwork, leadership development, medical scenarios, live fire training, ladders, and so much more — gaining firsthand experience of what it takes to serve their community.

The skills, confidence, and lessons learned over the past 30 weeks will stay with them long into the future, no matter what path they choose. We are proud of everything this group has accomplished and excited to see what comes next for each of them.

Congratulations again to all of our graduates. We wish you the best on your future endeavors!
