Join us for one day only at the Patch Brewery.

Sunday June 14 @ 10am

We are partnering up with the Patch Brewery for this fun filled day of fundraising.
Come say hi, have a beverage to cool down and climb the Rock Wall.
All to support your local SAR Team, Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue.

Did you know this team started up in 1969?
A father and son went missing in Golden Ears Provincial Park( then called Garibaldi Provincial Park)in June of 1966 and despite an extensive search involving hundreds of volunteers, sadly they were never found. However,
after this search volunteers came together to create what is now Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue.
Many have joined throughout the years offering their skills, leadership and dedication. Some members on our team are still volunteering their time after 25, 30 and even 40 years.

We are 100% volunteer and we are on call 24/7 365 days a year.

Thank you so much The Patch Brewery and
The Rock Wall Climbing Gym for donating your time and helping raise funds for Ridge Meadows SAR!

Coquitlam Search and Rescue and Talon Helicopters assisted our team with a rescue this past weekend in Golden Ears Park.

Coquitlam Search and Rescue and Talon Helicopters assisted our team with a rescue this past weekend in Golden Ears Park.

On June 7, 2026 - Coquitlam SAR was called by the ECC and a search manager from Ridge Meadows SAR for an injury call on Mt. Nutt.

It was reported that the subject possibly had two broken ankles after a tumble off the trail.

Two members from our Class D team responded with Talon Helicopters to the West Canyon Landing Zone (LZ) in Golden Ears Park to pickup two Ridge Meadows Class D techs for the rescue site recce.

The rescue took place with one tech from each team on the hoist line. The subject, who did not have broken ankles, was successfully hoisted out and flown back to the West Canyon LZ.

Coquitlam’s techs flew back to TCFH and YVR and the task was shut down.

Thank you to both Talon Helicopter and Ridge Meadows SAR for their professionalism and continued partnership.
