Pleased to meet MPP Joseph Racinsky (Halton Hills) and Halton Healthcare to discuss the proposed new hospital development in Georgetown, aimed at strengthening local healthcare services across the broader Halton community.

The meeting was held at the Walker Wood property, located just south of the existing Georgetown Hospital. We were given a site tour and discussed the proposed hospital development to help meet the needs of the growing Halton region population, along with the exciting initiatives and areas of support this project may offer.

We also toured the beautiful Walker Wood property, learning about its history and the efforts to preserve its legacy.

Excited about the continued progress on this important project for our community!

Project Starter is a major win for public safety.

Congratulations to Barrie Police Service, South Simcoe Police Service, CBSA and Équité Association on a successful multi-agency investigation and the largest auto theft recovery in Barrie and South Simcoe police history.

Our government will continue backing police with the tools and resources they need to fight organized auto theft.

Thrilled to join the team at the Milton Magic FC Recreational Kick-Off Day to celebrate a $73,800 Capital grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation in support of community soccer in Milton.

This investment will help expand inclusive soccer programming, provide new equipment, and create more opportunities for children and families to stay active, build skills, and connect through sport.

Thank you to everyone at Milton Magic FC for your continued commitment to youth development, teamwork, and strengthening our community both on and off the field!

Two years ago today, I took my oath of office and promised to work tirelessly for the people of Milton and our province.

Looking back, it has been an absolute whirlwind of advocacy, late nights, and meaningful progress. When I went to Queen’s Park, my goal was to bridge the gap between high-level provincial policy and the immediate, real-world needs of our community.

Over the last 24 months, I’ve had the privilege of helping shape key provincial priorities at the highest level. From working on the 2024 Fall Economic Statement and the 2025 Budget, to driving auto-theft reduction strategies and pushing for critical bail reform in both the Spring and Fall Justice Bills, it's been really productive.

But for me, leadership is measured by the impact it has right here at home.

That is why I am incredibly proud that we’ve been able to secure hundreds of millions of dollars in provincial funding specifically for Milton. That means new schools, more hospital beds and better healthcare, and more municipal infrastructure.

Beyond the policy and the funding, the absolute best part of this journey has been the people. I’ve traveled across this great province and met thousands of hard-working Ontarians. Your stories, your challenges, and your energy are what motivate me every single day.

To everyone in Milton who has shared their perspective, welcomed me to their doorstep, or trusted me with this responsibility, thank you. We have built an incredible foundation over these past two years, but there is still so much more to do.

Year three starts today. Let's keep building.

Eid ul-Adha Mubarak to our Milton community!

May this special occasion remind us of the values of compassion, generosity, and community that bring us all together.

From my family to yours, Eid Mubarak!
