What does it take to build the next generation of women in politics?

It start early in life and with the basics.

Equal Voice's She Governs annual program introduces Grade 9 - 12 young people to the basics of governance, then goes deeper through model exercises, real policy discussions, and teaching how municipal leadership is a way to serve your community and neighbours.

These past and present leaders are powerfully changing what's possible for every woman and two-spirit person in this country. We've featured a few, but we celebrate the many leading their communities from coast to coast to coast.
