After this announcement by Di Santis, snow birds are welcoming the Parti Rhinocéros Party proposal that would result in Cuba fast tracking to become a Canadian province.
Other Caribian nations are showing interest in the idea with the provision that guarantees be put in place to prohibit American land acquisitions.

The Parti Rhinocéros Party is working with the Carney government on a proposal that would make Cuba Canada's 11th province.

In a similar constitutional arrangement as Quebec enjoys, Cuba would have "distinc society" status. In many aspects Cuba has a simular socialist infrastructure as Canada. The obvious transition would be in governance. Selling a constitutional monarchy with King Charles as head of state will take some doing. Other then that, most Cubans have been ready to reform their government to a democratic capitalist-socialist system for decades.

Canada and Cuba have always enjoyed a close relationship since their revolution. A relationship that was strengthened by the birth of Justin Trudeau.

What makes this proposal more then the idle speculation of the past is the fact that the Rhino Party is emphasizing that the Canada-Cuba unification is an expedient way of demolishing the devastating US sanctions on Cuba, it would prevent American corporations from retaking assets lost to the revolution, and it would curtail the Trump family's plan to invade the country to seize control of their tourist industry. Canadians in turn would again be able to enjoy Cuban vacations once unjustifiable American sanctions are curtailed.

The proposal is in it's initial stage, however there is an enthusiastic desire to move this forward to a formal unification quickly so both nations can enjoy POTUS' temper tantrum.

I was scared of Artificial Intelligence but now that its Super Intellegence we can all relax. The super intelligence people will just regulate themselves. The AI people had no idea what they were doing.
