Pembroke Public Library is also a Carnegie library! We love our building and its history 💕

Did you know Andrew Carnegie donated more than $40 million to build 1,679 U.S. library buildings? 30 Carnegie libraries were built in Georgia! Many have significant original features remaining and have been restored. These distinctive buildings play an important role in this country’s cultural heritage. Visit all 7 active Carnegie libraries to earn a commemorative coin! Learn more at georgialibraries.org/carnegie
