Since February 23, 1963, library services have been available to the residents of Picture Butte and the surrounding area. The Picture Butte Municipal Library building was opened on August 3, 1981. The Picture Butte Municipal Library is committed to maintaining current, high interest materials in a variety of formats for people of all ages and interests. Special emphasis is placed on developing an

appreciation for reading and learning for children. The Library provides a venue for students of all ages to study and carry out research.

Beginning Tuesday, all patrons under the age of 16 will be required to provide signed parental consent before they will be allowed to use our public computers, unsupervised.
Even if your child has regularly used our computers unsupervised in the past, they must now provide signed parental consent.
