Customized Homecare has been conceived out of my personal experience with friends and colleagues who are grappling with the overwhelming responsibility of caring for loved ones. More often than not their family members are elderly or suffers from a chronic or critical illness. They wish to keep the loved one at home with dignity, security and peace of mind. These colleagues are caught between bein

g caregivers and maintaining a demanding career and family life. The term coined to describe us is “The Sandwich Generation”. The overwhelming tasks of managing a loved one’s care is complicated since we have a resource strapped health and social services system. Customized Homecare believes that homecare service must be delivered as if it were being provided by you. We have put in place a team of Registered Nurses, PAB (Préposée Aux Bénéficiaires), and Companions who have combined experience of over 50 years as caregivers. These caregivers are experienced, trained, and insured to provide Care designed by you. You can choose from 1 hour per week to as much hours as you need. Why I Play: Meet Andrew 👋

He first got involved with Kiwanis Lakeshore when Andy Sarrasin invited him to a meeting. He's been at every Golf Tournament since, both on the course and as a sponsor. His company started as a Gold Sponsor and has since stepped up to Diamond, for the second year running.

When we asked him why he keeps coming back...
"Kiwanis is local, and it has a direct impact on the youth and young adults in our community. I started as a Gold Sponsor because it allows more funds to go to community organizations. I increased our company's commitment to further the effort."

His favourite memory?
"Last year, one of the golfers on our team sunk a shot on our last hole from the far edge of the green. That was a great shot!"

His advice to anyone on the fence:
"If you're thinking of sponsoring, you support local youth, you have a great time, and the exposure for your company is great."

Andrew is one of the reasons Golf Day feels the way it does. On June 15, he'll be back on the course supporting underserved children and youth across Montreal and the West Island. We hope you'll join him.
