Why I Play: Meet Andrew 👋
He first got involved with Kiwanis Lakeshore when Andy Sarrasin invited him to a meeting. He's been at every Golf Tournament since, both on the course and as a sponsor. His company started as a Gold Sponsor and has since stepped up to Diamond, for the second year running.
When we asked him why he keeps coming back...
"Kiwanis is local, and it has a direct impact on the youth and young adults in our community. I started as a Gold Sponsor because it allows more funds to go to community organizations. I increased our company's commitment to further the effort."
His favourite memory?
"Last year, one of the golfers on our team sunk a shot on our last hole from the far edge of the green. That was a great shot!"
His advice to anyone on the fence:
"If you're thinking of sponsoring, you support local youth, you have a great time, and the exposure for your company is great."
Andrew is one of the reasons Golf Day feels the way it does. On June 15, he'll be back on the course supporting underserved children and youth across Montreal and the West Island. We hope you'll join him.
