Salisbury Fire Rescue would like to send out a BIG Thank you to the Salisbury Guardian Drug Store for the donation of 100 cases of water.

This donation will make sure that our members stay hydrated while on active scenes. Hydration plays an important role in the recovery process by
-Improving performance
-Reduces Heat and cardiac risk
-Supports clearer thinking
-Helps with muscle recovery and fatigue.

⚠️ ROAD ADVISORY: TRAVEL NOT RECOMMENDED ⚠️

Please be advised that the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) has issued a "Travel Not Recommended" advisory for a large section of the Trans-Canada Highway.

Location: Route 2 (TCH)

Affected Area: Kilometer markers 257 to 452

Status: Travel is highly discouraged due to current conditions.

If you do not absolutely need to be on the roads, please stay home. Keeping the highways clear helps our emergency crews and plow operators do their jobs safely and effectively.

If you are already on the road and must travel, please reduce your speed, turn on your headlights, and leave plenty of distance between yourself and other vehicles.

For the most up-to-date road conditions, please check NB 511 before heading out.

Stay safe out there!
