Community Living Access Mission: To advocate with, empower and support people with disabilities to live the lives they choose

Community Living Access is a non-profit charitable organization. The association was started by people who had a developmental disability, their families, friends and volunteers who believed that all people have the right to live in and contribute to the life of the community.

🟣June is Aphasia Awareness Month🟣

In honour of the month, the Aphasia flag has been raised at our office! We'd like to express our gratitude for the heartfelt thanks we received from the Aphasia advocacy group that meets at our office in Simcoe.

They wanted to share this important message;
"June is Aphasia Awareness Month....
but we live with Aphasia every day."

What is Aphasia?
◾Aphasia is a language impairment following a stroke, brain injury or brain illness.
◾Aphasia can affect speaking, reaching writing and understanding.
◾Aphasia is a communication difficulty. It does not affect thinking of intellect.
◾People with Aphasia know more than they can say.

It was wonderful to see so many people and local businesses take part in Community Living Month by proudly showing off their blue and green ribbons! 💙💚 Thank you to everyone who helped spread the message of inclusion throughout our community.

Stay tuned to hear who won the contest!

We’re proudly showing our love and support for Community Living Access and their blue & green ribbon campaign! 💙💚

Community Living Access is already part of our Superior family in so many ways. We have amazing staff members here, and we are lucky enough to have some of their incredible clients take part in our gym and personal training services too.

We love and appreciate every single one of them. They bring smiles, hard work, personality, and so much joy through our doors and honestly, our gym is better because of them.

So here’s our blue & green ribbon, worn proudly, with love from all of us at Superior Workout Training Centre.

Stay Strong, Stay Superior 💙💚
