Grade 9 Leadership in Action! ⚾

Our Grade 9 Leadership class hosted a fun baseball tournament for Grade 3 to 6 students from Savanna and Bonanza School, and it was a great day of teamwork, encouragement, and friendly competition.

We are very proud of the citizenship our Grade 9 students displayed as they organized, supported, and led the younger students throughout the day. It was a great example of leadership in action.

A big thank you as well to the community volunteers who came in to help make the tournament possible. Your support helps create memorable opportunities for our students!

A huge thank you to the Bonanza Fire Department for their incredible support at our track meet with Bonanza School!

Along with providing an amazing BBQ for our students, volunteers, and staff, the Bonanza Fire Department also surprised Savanna School with a generous $2,500 donation.

This donation will be used to purchase new literacy supplies for our students and to install permanent baseball nets on our new elementary basketball court.

We are so grateful for community partners who continue to show up for our students in such meaningful ways. Thank you, Bonanza Fire Department!

Our Outdoor Education students are off the water and on their way home after an incredible four-day, three-night canoe trip down the Mighty Peace River!

This year’s group travelled 140 km from Clayhurst, BC to Dunvegan, AB, paddling by day and backcountry camping each night along the way. They saw so much of our beautiful country, including bears, deer, elk, snakes, and even the very rare sight of a blonde bear. Along the way, they also stopped to explore and search for fossils.

As expected, they also climbed just about everything they could find.

This was a strong group of students, and they were lucky to have great weather for the journey. We are proud of their effort, teamwork, and positive attitude throughout the trip.

Community Spirit in Full Stride

A huge thank you to our staff, parents, and community volunteers for helping make our annual Track and Field Meet with Bonanza School such a great success.

We are also incredibly grateful to the Bonanza Fire Department for providing an amazing BBQ for everyone to enjoy.

It was a fantastic day of competition, community, and school spirit. Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen!
