Wow… I felt this.

I know I’m not the only one who’s ever felt like people had already decided who I was before truly getting to know me.

But if we’re being honest… we’ve probably done that to others, too.

That’s why learning matters—not just in a classroom, but in how we show up for each other every day. Learning to stay curious. Learning to listen. Learning to look beyond first impressions.

Maybe today, on Written Wednesday, is a chance to learn something new about someone around you… and to let others learn something new about you, too.

Whoa! Did you know that the world’s smallest book is so tiny you can’t read it without a microscope? 🔬📖

The book, Teeny Ted from Turnip Town, was created by scientists at Simon Fraser University in Canada and measures only 0.07 × 0.10 mm—about the width of a human hair!

It just goes to show that even the smallest things can hold a wealth of knowledge. Who knew a book so tiny could contain an entire story within its pages?

Another Written Wednesday is here again.

Today I wanted to share this lovely quote by Morgan Harper Nichols:

“I Just hope you can see the beautiful chaos of how the path twists and bends, and how the journey is absolutely worth taking without knowing how it ends.”

It’s a wonderful reminder for all of us as we move through life. We may not know exactly where we’re going or how things will turn out, but every twist, turn, and unexpected moment is part of the journey that shapes us.

So take your time. Rest when you need to. Enjoy the view along the way, and try to find the beauty in each moment of your path.

Everything in life comes with its hardships — jobs, household duties, parenthood… and yes, even learning.

But it’s important to remember that within every struggle, there is a moment of beauty waiting on the other side.
It’s the excitement of earning that next promotion, the calm of sitting down in a clean home, the pride of watching a child grow into adulthood. And for us here at The Adult Learning Council, that beauty shines when we see our learners reaching heights they once thought were impossible.
