The funds generated in our ReStore cover all of HFHWE’s operati

ng costs and a large portion of building costs – ensuring that every single cent of every single dollar donated – goes toward building safe, decent, affordable homes right here in Windsor-Essex County. We bring people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Some things are beyond our control. Where we shop isn’t.

Tariffs, counter-tariffs and changing supply chains are driving uncertainty and increasing the pressure on the cost of building affordable homes.

But there’s something our community can do.

Our ReStore has reach maximum couch capacity - we guess it's just that time of year! This is your time. If you’ve been thinking about replacing a couch, furnishing a basement, setting up a student apartment, filling a rec room or finally getting rid of the couch you secretly hate, NOW is the time.

With a little muscle, some creativity and plenty of teamwork, the GreenShield team transformed them into handmade easels ready for a second life...and an upcoming ReStore event! (Keep an eye out for details.)
