Today was a sweet way to help our residents stay cool! ☀️🍉

We prepared refreshing frozen fruit lollipops made with papaya, mango and banana for our amazing animals. Not only are they a delicious treat, but they also provide enrichment, encourage natural foraging behaviors, and help them cool down on hot days. 🐒🦜

Every day is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Costa Rica’s wildlife. As a volunteer, you’ll become part of a dedicated team working to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect animals that have been affected by illegal wildlife trafficking, accidents, or habitat loss.

Your experience will include preparing food, cleaning and maintaining enclosures, creating enrichment activities, assisting with the daily care of the animals, and much more.
