විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්ර අයදුම්පත් අවශ්යතා සහ වැදගත් දැන්වීම

නව විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්රයක් ලබා ගැනීම සඳහා පහත සඳහන් ලියකියවිලි අවශ්යතා වේ.
කිසියම් අවශ්ය ලියවිල්ලක් අසම්පූර්ණ නම්, අදාළ අයදුම්පත සමාලෝචනය කිරීමට, හැඳුනුම්පත් කාර්යාලය, රෙජිස්ට්රාර් ජෙනරාල් වැනි අනෙකුත් බලධාරීන් සමඟ තොරතුරු සත්යාපනය කිරීමට සහ විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්රය නිකුත් කිරීමට කොළඹ විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්ර කාර්යාලයට අමතර දිගු කාලයක් ගතවනු ඇත.
සියලුම ලියකියවිලි සම්පූර්ණ සහ පිළිවෙලට තිබේ නම්, සැකසුම් කාලය ආසන්න වශයෙන් මාස 4–6 කි.
හදිසි ගමන් බලපත්ර (ETD)

හදිසි ගමන් බලපත්ර සඳහා කොළඹ විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්ර කාර්යාලයෙන් විශේෂ අනුමැතියක් සහිතව පහත සඳහන් ලියකියවිලි ද අවශ්ය වේ.
ETD නිකුත් කරනු ලබන්නේ සුවිශේෂී සහ හදිසි අවස්ථා වලදී පමණක් වන අතර, කොළඹ ආගමන දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවෙන් නිසි අනුමැතිය ලබා ගැනීමෙන් පසුව පමණි.
වෙනත් කිසිදු ආකාරයක ‘හදිසි ගමන් බලපත්ර’ කිසිදු ශ්රී ලංකා තානාපති කාර්යාලයකින් නිකුත් නොකරන බව කරුණාවෙන් සලකන්න.
සියලුම ශ්රී ලාංකිකයින්ට ඔවුන්ගේ වත්මන් විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්රය කල් ඉකුත් වීමට අවම වශයෙන් වසරකට පෙර නව විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්රයක් සඳහා අයදුම් කරන ලෙස කාරුණිකව උපදෙස් දෙනු ලැබේ.
නීතිවිරෝධී තැරැව්කරුවන් හෝ නියෝජිතයන් අහිංසක මිනිසුන් සූරාකෑමට ඉඩ ඇති බැවින්, ඔවුන් විසින් නොමඟ යවන ලද හෝ වංචා නොකරන ලෙසද ඔබට කාරුණිකව උපදෙස් දෙනු ලැබේ.
විශේෂයෙන් දුෂ්කරතා හා අසරණභාවයට පත්ව ඇති අවස්ථාවන්හිදී, නීති විරෝධී තැරැව්කරුවන්, නියෝජිතයන් හෝ අතරමැදියන් විසින් නොමඟ යැවීමට හෝ රැවටීමට ලක් නොවන ලෙස කරුණාවෙන් දැනුම් දෙනු ලැබේ. සමාජ මාධ්යවල, විශේෂයෙන් ෆේස්බුක් (Facebook) ඔස්සේ, තමන් සමාජ ක්රියාකාරීන්, ප්රජා නියෝජිතයන් හෝ සේවා සපයන්නන් ලෙස ව්යාජ ලෙස පෙනී සිටින අවසර නොලත් පුද්ගලයන් සහ කණ්ඩායම් කිහිපයක් ක්රියාත්මක වන බවට අප වෙත වාර්තා ලැබී ඇත.
ඔවුන්ගේ ප්රධාන අරමුණ වන්නේ තම පෞද්ගලික වාසි සඳහා අහිංසක ශ්රී ලාංකිකයන් නොමඟ යැවීම, වංචා කිරීම සහ සූරාකෑමයි. එබැවින්, සියලු තොරතුරු නිල මාර්ග ඔස්සේ සත්යාපනය කරගැනීමටත්, එවැනි පුද්ගලයන් හෝ කණ්ඩායම් සමඟ කටයුතු කිරීමේදී උපරිම සැලකිල්ල සහ අවධානය යොමු කිරීමටත් මහජනතාව දැඩි ලෙස උනන්දු කරනු ලැබේ.

Passport Application Requirements and Important Notice

The following are the requirements to obtain a new passport. If any required document is incomplete or missing, the Passport Office in Colombo may take additional longer time to review the application, verify information with other relevant department such as Identify Card Office or Registrar General Department etc. and issue the passport.
If all documents are complete and in order, the processing time is approximately 4–6 months.
Emergency Travel Documents (ETD)

Emergency Travel Documents also require the same following documentation, along with special approval from the Passport Office in Colombo.
ETDs are issued only in exceptional and urgent and emergency cases, and only after obtaining proper approval from the Department of Immigration in Colombo.
Please note no any other form of ‘Travel Documents’ are issued by any Sri Lankan embassies.
All Sri Lankan expatriates are kindly advised to apply for a new passport at least one year before the expiry of their current passport.
