Thai Hom Mali Rice took centre stage in Stockholm as key food media, influencers and trade partners came together for Masterclass: The Art of Thai Hom Mali Rice - an evening celebrating one of Thailand's most iconic ingredients! 🇹🇭

Hosted at AVEQIA Stockholm, guests rolled up their sleeves with Daniel Sandin, Head Chef at Farang Stockholm, who guided them through the preparation of classic Thai dishes - including a rich red Thai curry and the viral favourite mango sticky rice 🥭🍚

The event was also attended by H.E. Mrs. Arunrung Phothong Humphreys, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden, who addressed the rich heritage and cultural significance of this authentic Thai rice.

The goal of the event was to educate guests about what makes Thai Hom Mali Rice so special - and why it’s celebrated around the world as one of the finest aromatic rice varieties.

The exhibition La Mode en Majesté. Royal Thai Dress From Tradition to Modernity, organised in partnership with SACIT, the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, the Royal Thai Embassy in Paris, and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs.

Where fashion meets cultural diplomacy as part of the celebrations marking the 340th anniversary of the first diplomatic mission and the 170th anniversary of Franco-Thai diplomatic relations (1856–2026).

200 masterpieces, including royal attire and accessories, belonging to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, primarily designed by the couturier Pierre Balmain, the House of Lesage and Thai designers, will be featured. In addition, the exhibition includes other royal attire belonging to Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana and Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. Additionally, the exhibition highlights the development of Thai court dress through the eight styles of Chud Thai Phra Ratchaniyom (the Thai national dress of royal favor), offering insight into the richness of exceptional Thai craftsmanship and its place on the global stage.

The Office of Commercial Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy, Copenhaegn joined the National Day and Father’s Day Reception hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy, presenting a special showcase to promote Thai products on 2 December 2025 at the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel. ✨

We brought a colorful mix of Thai lifestyle products to the event — Muay Thai–inspired items, gifts, toys, home décor, spa products, and cosmetics. Plus, our 100 limited-edition Muay Thai character tote bags were a big hit with the 250 distinguished guests, including diplomats and partners from various sectors. 🎁🥋

A big lineup of Thai brands joined us to present their creative products:

Our booth was buzzing the entire evening — guests stopped by to explore, ask where to buy the products, and snap photos. The atmosphere was warm, fun, and full of excitement. It was a great opportunity to show how modern, creative, and high-potential Thai products truly are. 🌟

In addition, the Royal Thai Embassy, Copenhagen also highlighted and promoted Thai SELECT restaurants during the event. 🍽️ — and they absolutely impressed everyone! 🍽️🔥

Here’s what was served:

Guests kept telling us how delicious everything was — and yes, many took photos before eating because the dishes looked so beautiful! 📸

This year’s event was warm, vibrant, and full of positive energy. We were truly delighted to see Thai products and Thai cuisine shine and leave such a strong impression on guests from around the world. It was a wonderful step forward in presenting a fresh and modern image of Thailand here in Denmark. 🇹🇭❤️🇩🇰
