🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿It was pleasure to receive Mwombeki Augustine from Stonetown Rotary club in the Consulate. He then meet with Copenhagen international Rotary club (CIRC) presented the club flag and sign the twining Certificate (confirming Stone Town Rotary Club and CIRC are twinned clubs. CIRC has supported two WASH programmes in Zanzibar, the last one to support the water and sanitation of a maternity clinic near Paje. A big shoutout to Florence Tinguely Mattli who was instrumental in working with us to raise funds through Tanzanian art auctions and sales.

🇹🇿🇹🇿“Ilikuwa ni furaha kumpokea Mwombeki Augustine kutoka Rotary Club ya Stonetown katika Ubalozi mdogo. Baadae alikutana na Copenhagen International Rotary Club (CIRC), akawasilisha bendera ya klabu na kusaini Cheti cha Ushirikiano wa Kiu ndugu (Twining Certificate), kuthibitisha kuwa Rotary Club ya Stone Town na CIRC ni vilabu vya undugu.

CIRC imeunga mkono programu mbili za WASH huko Zanzibar, ambapo ya mwisho ilikuwa kusaidia huduma za maji na usafi wa mazingira katika kliniki ya wazazi karibu na Paje.

Shukrani za pekee kwa Florence Tinguely Mattli ambaye alikuwa mstari wa mbele kufanya kazi nasi katika kuchangisha fedha kupitia minada na mauzo ya sanaa ya Kitanzania.”

The Consulate will be closed Thursday 14th and Friday 15th May and will reopen on Monday 18th May.

Ubalozi mdogo utafungwa siku ya Alhamisi tarehe 14 na Ijumaa tarehe 15 Mei na utafunguliwa siku ya Jumatatu tarehe 18 Mei.

🇹🇿🇩🇰“Now it’s time for the youth, our children, and anyone interested in learning about Tanzanian culture to be given a chance”.

These were some of the discussions between the consulate and a few leaders and representatives of Tanzanian communities here in Denmark.

There are several projects on the way,
👉🏿Swahili language class,
👉🏿football team,
👉🏿women’s groups.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the meeting. Unity is important if we want to achieve our goals.
