🚨 500+ POLICE. A GATED COMPOUND. FIVE RISK ORDERS. ARE COMMUNITIES SAFE?

Around 150 people—including approximately 56 children—were reportedly living communally behind the gates of Webb House.

Following allegations involving sexual offences, forced marriage and modern slavery, five Slavery and Trafficking Risk Orders were approved against individuals. These are protective civil orders—not criminal convictions—and the allegations remain under investigation.

But the public-interest question cannot simply disappear:

Is a large, isolated and tightly controlled religious compound an example of integration into British life—or a closed community operating beyond meaningful public scrutiny?

Are its residents freely participating in wider society and living under British laws and safeguarding standards? Or can walls, fear, control and extreme beliefs allow harmful practices to remain hidden in plain sight?

This concerns one specific organisation—not British Muslims generally. Freedom of religion must always be protected, but it cannot place any individual, organisation or community beyond safeguarding, accountability and the rule of law.

Integration must mean participation, transparency and equal protection under British law—not isolation without scrutiny.

🚨 BORDER SECURITY IS A DUTY — NOT AN OPTION

Britain has already witnessed decades of catastrophic safeguarding failures around grooming gangs. The Casey Audit documented institutional failures, poor recording of ethnicity and reluctance in some authorities to confront uncomfortable patterns.

Now Britain continues to receive tens of thousands of people through illegal/irregular entry routes, including Iranian nationals, while communities are being asked to accommodate large numbers in hotels, HMOs and proposed former military sites.

That raises an urgent national-security question: how can Parliament guarantee that hostile-state operatives cannot exploit the same routes? The UK has now designated Iran’s IRGC as a state-threat organisation.

Separately, Rupert Lowe’s 2026 survivor-led report estimates 250,000+ grooming-gang victims over decades. That figure is fiercely disputed — Full Fact says the methodology cannot reliably establish a national total — but nobody can seriously dispute that thousands of children were sexually exploited and institutions repeatedly failed them.

So where is the accountability?

MPs have a responsibility to legislate for national security, public safety and child protection. If evidence ever establishes that an official knowingly facilitated criminals, concealed serious offences or deliberately assisted hostile foreign operatives, that evidence should go before investigators and the courts.

Political betrayal? Dereliction of duty? Or potentially criminal conduct where individual evidence supports it?

Don’t simply shout “treason.” Establish who knew what, when they knew it, what they did—and prosecute any crime the evidence proves.

🇬🇧 PROTECT CHILDREN. SECURE THE BORDER. INVESTIGATE THE FAILURES. HOLD POWER TO ACCOUNT.

🚨 BRITAIN’S GROOMING-GANG SCANDAL: HOW MANY WARNINGS DID IT TAKE?

Rupert Lowe’s 2026 survivor-led inquiry report estimates 250,000+ victims since the 1950s and identifies alleged or documented grooming-gang activity across 149+ local-authority districts. That 250,000 figure is fiercely disputed: Full Fact says the methodology does not reliably establish that number specifically as victims of grooming gangs, while acknowledging clear evidence that thousands of children have suffered organised sexual exploitation.

Now separate Network Map research reported this week says investigators found 99 gangs involving 68 families, more than 4,000 connections, and links between grooming offenders and 100+ convicted organised criminals. The Times separately reports that the project contains 1,000+ perpetrators, gangs, families, establishments and “notable individuals”, including councillors and police officers, with 150+ links to other offenders and organised crime networks.

And this did not happen under one political party. Across decades, Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat politicians have all held national or local public office while institutional failures continued. Baroness Casey concluded that successive governments and public authorities failed to confront aspects of the scandal adequately, while poor data, information-sharing failures and fear of being labelled racist contributed to offenders being left free to commit further crimes.

That is different from proving that entire political parties collectively “covered it up.” Where individual politicians, councils, police forces or other institutions failed children, the evidence should establish who knew what, when they knew it, and why action wasn’t taken.

The statutory national inquiry is now examining exactly those institutional responses, with national accountability hearings intended to compel individuals and organisations to explain publicly what they did—or failed to do—to protect children.

No party loyalty. No institutional protection. No fear of uncomfortable facts.
Victims first. Truth. Justice. Accountability
