Да се довериш на другия е лесно, когато доверието никога не е било разрушавано.
Но как се доверяваш, когато в живота си си бил предаван?
А когато и ти самият си предавал?

В LESE театърът се превръща в пространство, в което доверието не се обяснява — то се преживява.

Да приемеш присъствието на другия.
Да усетиш гърба му до своя.
Да чуеш дишането му.
Да затвориш очи и да знаеш, че някой е там.
Да разбереш, че партньорът не е заплаха, а опора.

Защото на сцената никой не може да бъде сам.
Всеки зависи от другия — от неговото движение, реакция, поглед, ритъм и присъствие.

Театърът позволява да усетиш силата на групата.
Не като думи, а като физическо преживяване:

„Един за всички, всички за един.“

Понякога първата крачка към доверието е съвсем малка —
да обърнеш гръб на другия и за миг да повярваш, че той ще остане там.

📖 Книгата, която може да те вдъхнови. Книгата, която може да те промени. „Дъното“.

В рамките на проекта LESSE вярваме, че промяната започва с една мисъл, една история, една среща със самия себе си.

Защото понякога човек трябва да стигне до дъното, за да открие силата да се изправи.

С нетърпение очакваме да прочетем „Дъното“ заедно с участниците в проекта и да превърнем прочетеното в разговор, размисъл и театър.

Защото всяка история може да се превърне в ново начало.

Понякога човек трябва да стигне дъното, за да открие в себе си силата да тръгне нагоре.

Благодарим на Константин Игнатов за подкрепата, за думите и за вярата в смисъла на това, което правим. 🙏

В работата ни с групата от правонарушители знаем, че всяка дума има значение. Всяка дума, която вдъхновява към добро. Всяка история, която кара човек да погледне към себе си. Всеки жест, който му напомня, че промяната е възможна.

Защото понякога не е нужно много.

Една дума.
Една книга.
Една история.
Един човек, който да повярва, че можеш да бъдеш повече от най-трудния момент в живота си.

С нетърпение очакваме книгата „Дъното“, за да се потопим в нея заедно. 📖

Може би ще открием познати истории.
Може би ще срещнем болезнени истини.
Може би някой ще разпознае част от себе си между страниците.

Но вярваме, че когато човек има смелостта да погледне към дъното, може да открие и пътя нагоре.

Sometimes, a person has to hit rock bottom to discover the strength within to rise again.

We would like to thank Konstantin Ignatov for his support, for his words, and for believing in the meaning of what we do. 🙏

In our work with a group of offenders, we know that every word matters. Every word that inspires people to choose what is good. Every story that makes a person look within. Every gesture that reminds them that change is possible.

Because sometimes, it doesn’t take much.

One word.
One book.
One story.
One person who believes that you can be more than the hardest moment of your life.

We are eagerly awaiting the book “Rock Bottom” so that we can immerse ourselves in it together. 📖

Perhaps we will discover familiar stories.
Perhaps we will encounter painful truths.
Perhaps someone will recognize a part of themselves between its pages.

But we believe that when a person has the courage to face rock bottom, they can also find the way back up.

🎬🐝 Today, together with the group of offenders, we began watching the film “Bugonia”.

The film immersed us in a world that encourages reflection on community, the connections between people, and each individual’s place within a greater whole. The story led us to think about cooperation, responsibility, and the importance of collective effort.

We will continue watching the film during our next meeting, followed by a discussion where everyone will have the opportunity to share their impressions, reflections, and personal interpretations.

Sometimes, cinema offers us new perspectives on the world and on ourselves. 🎭✨

🎬🐝 Днес заедно с групата от правонарушители започнахме гледането на филма „Бугония“.

Филмът ни потопи в свят, който провокира размисли за общността, взаимовръзките между хората и мястото на всеки от нас в едно по-голямо цяло. Историята ни насочи към теми като сътрудничеството, отговорността и значението на общите усилия.

Предстои ни да изгледаме филма докрай, а след това да проведем дискусия, в която всеки ще има възможност да сподели своите впечатления, размисли и лични интерпретации.

Понякога именно чрез киното откриваме нови гледни точки към света и към самите себе си. 🎭✨

„Кал или Звезди“ – когато човек се осмели да погледне към себе си

Вдъхновени от книгата „Въпреки всичко“ на Питър Стейдж, днес лишените от свобода преминаха през едно различно пътуване – не навън, а навътре към себе си.

Те написаха писмо… до самите себе си.
До онзи човек, който често остава скрит зад грешките, защитите и мълчанието.
Писма с въпроси, признания, надежда, вина, прошка и желание за промяна.

След това „продаваха“ въображаеми качества – мнителност, доверчивост, емпатия, гняв, търпение, страх, смелост…
Опитаха се да видят:
Кое качество ни пази?Кое ни пречи?
И каква е цената да загубиш или запазиш част от себе си?

Понякога човек живее в калта на собствените си страхове.
Понякога обаче, въпреки всичко, успява да погледне към звездите.

А може би истинската промяна започва точно в този момент — когато човек спре да бяга от себе си и се осмели да се срещне със собствената си история.

“Mud or Stars” – when a person dares to look within

Inspired by the book “Despite Everything” by Peter Stage, today the inmates took part in a different kind of journey — not outward, but inward, toward themselves.

They wrote letters… to themselves.
To the person often hidden behind mistakes, defenses, and silence.
Letters filled with questions, confessions, hope, guilt, forgiveness, and a desire for change.

After that, they “sold” imaginary qualities — suspicion, trustfulness, empathy, anger, patience, fear, courage…
They tried to reflect on:
Which qualities protect us?
Which ones hold us back?
And what is the price of losing or keeping parts of ourselves?

Sometimes a person lives in the mud of their own fears.
But sometimes, despite everything, they still manage to look toward the stars.

And maybe true change begins exactly there — in the moment a person stops running from themselves and dares to face their own story.

Sometimes, right there—in clay and plasticine, in touch and movement—something new begins.

When your fingers follow the impulse and emotion finds its shape, art is born.
No words. No pretending. Just something real you can hold in your hands.

It’s a space for expression—quiet, honest, and freeing.

Highlights from the Erasmus+ LESE Project’s Working Meeting in Alessandria Italy 2 – 3 March 2026.
On March 2 and 3, UISP Alessandria hosted one of the stages of the Erasmus+ LESE – Learning and Participation through Socially Engaged Theater project, an initiative that aims to promote the learning, inclusion, and social reintegration of people with criminal backgrounds through community theater.
Two intense and inspiring days in Alessandria brought together all partners for the second phase of the LESE project.
📍 2nd of March 2026
The working meeting in Alessandria began at the Fuga di Sapori bistro inside the Cantiello e Gaeta prison followed by a welcome breakfast and the introduction of the international delegations.
Presentation of the Italian internship program and the drama therapy experience in the local Alessandria's prisons, led by drama therapist Fabio Martinello and representatives of partner associations.
The day concluded with a dinner prepared by the Idee in Fuga cooperative, a social enterprise that operates inside the Cantiello e Gaeta prison and offers people in detention the opportunity to develop professional skills through culinary training and work experience. Their dishes added a meaningful touch to the evening, reflecting the cooperative’s commitment to inclusion and reintegration.

Participants visited the Borsalino Museum, discovering one of Alessandria’s cultural landmarks.
At Ristorazione Sociale, the meeting shifted into its most productive and forward‑looking phase where partners engaged in an in‑depth collaborative discussion dedicated to shaping the project’s next steps — with a strong emphasis on the creation of the manual on the application of community theater models. Drawing on the experiences gathered in Helsinki and Alessandria, the group worked collectively to outline the structure, key themes, and practical guidelines that will form the backbone of this publication. Once completed, the manual will serve as a shared resource for professionals, stakeholders, policymakers, and the wider public, ensuring that the methodologies developed throughout the project can be adopted, adapted, and sustained across different contexts.
🎤 Throughout the two days, interviews were recorded with project representatives, including Kimmo Kumlander, Maurizio Arduino, Fabio Martinello, and Lucia Veleva, offering insights into each country’s contribution and the next steps ahead.
