💚 This World Mental Health Day, we’re reminding everyone that Awen Libraries are here for you.

Our libraries are free, safe and welcoming spaces where you can take time out, discover helpful Reading Well books, enjoy an activity, or simply connect with others. Through reading, trusted information and opportunities to come together, we’re helping to support wellbeing and reduce social isolation across our communities.

This year, our libraries are showcasing some of the new Mood-boosting Books 2026 collection. Specially selected by young adults, the collection feature books that readers found feel-good, uplifting and meaningful. They include fiction and non-fiction and a range of genres from romance to science fiction.

Pop in and discover how your local library could support your wellbeing.
