A huge congratulations to Colonel Jamie McMeechan on completing the Copenhagen Ironman and raising an incredible Β£6,500 in support of the Army Benevolent Fund.

🚴 112-mile bike ride

Reflecting on the challenge, Jamie said "It was brutal at times, but the atmosphere was incredible and the support from everyone kept me moving when my body wanted to stop. I'm genuinely humbled by the generosity shown and the incredible amount raised. Every donation helps the ABF continue standing beside our military family through injury, bereavement, hardship and crisis."

We are incredibly grateful for Jamie's commitment, determination and continued support. The funds raised will help us continue supporting soldiers, veterans and their families when they need us most.

Thank you, Jamie, and very well done from all of us at ABF Scotland! πŸ‘πŸ’™

πŸ’ͺπŸŽ‰ Challenge Complete and Goal Smashed! πŸŽ‰πŸ’ͺ

A huge congratulations to Tiffany and Dave, who took on the Tough Mudder on 6 June in support of the Army Benevolent Fund, raising a fantastic Β£1,525 for soldiers, veterans and their families.

Tiffany has a strong connection to the Army family, having grown up as an Army child before going on to serve as a Reserve Soldier with the Royal Signals. Together, she and Dave tackled the demanding course and a great fundraising spirit.

Thank you both for your incredible support and commitment to the Army community. We are enormously grateful for everything you've done to help us continue supporting those who serve, or who have served, and their families. πŸ‘πŸ‘

πŸ’™ A Truly FAB Visit πŸ’™

Last week, ABF Scotland's John Gillie and Gordon Tibbetts visited a Friends of FAB (Families' Activity Breaks) camp in Lochgoilhead, the first FAB camp ever held in Scotland. FAB provides life-changing residential breaks for bereaved military families, helping them build confidence, resilience and lasting friendships through outdoor adventure and peer support.

From kayaking and climbing to simply spending time with others who understand their journey, the impact on families was clear to see. One parent told us,"I don't know where I'd be without FAB."

We're incredibly proud to support FAB and the amazing volunteers who help military families find hope, connection and a renewed sense of purpose after loss. πŸ’™
