Through a child’s eyes, football is pure magic ✨ It’s about heroes, dreams and believing anything is possible.

This brilliant drawing of John McGinn’s famous goggles reminds us that every child in Glasgow deserves to feel part of a team.

Children across Glasgow have different needs, experiences and challenges. Every child deserves to feel seen, supported and that they belong.

Could you be part of their team? 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✨

For some children, it will be their first World Cup memory. The excitement before kick off. The hope that maybe, just maybe, this is our year 🤞⚽️🏆

These are the moments that stay with us 💙

Because while football brings a nation together, having a family behind you can change a child’s life forever.

Right now, we urgently need people who can create those memories for Glasgow’s children.

⚽️ Today the world will be watching football ⚽️

We'll celebrate goals, victories and unforgettable moments.

But for some children in Glasgow, their biggest dream isn’t lifting a trophy. It’s having somewhere to call home.

A family to cheer them on from the sidelines. Someone to help them through life’s challenges.
People who will always be there ❤️

This World Cup, while we are supporting our teams, let’s remember the children waiting to find theirs.

Every child deserves a childhood full of moments like this ❤️

A caravan holiday. A little trolley packed with treasured diggers. Excitement about adventures ahead.

For most children, these memories are made with their family. But for some children across Glasgow, these simple moments are still waiting to happen.

Right now, children of ages need foster carers and adoptive parents.

If you’ve ever wondered whether fostering and adoption could be something you could do then please find out more www.fosterglasgow.org

Social media has incredible power. Every share helps us reach new people, start conversations and find families for children who need them.

A few seconds of your time could help a child find the love, stability and belonging they deserve.

Right now, 11 children are waiting to find their forever family through adoption ❤️

Recently, we were delighted to welcome approved adopters to our first adoption event at the City Chambers. This event was a chance to connect, share experiences and celebrate the incredible difference adoption makes to children’s lives.

There are still children in Glasgow waiting for love and stability that only a permanent family can provide. Could you be the person they are waiting for?

Every child deserves a family to call their own. By choosing adoption, you could change a child’s future and your own ❤️

In Glasgow, we welcome applicants from people of all backgrounds, whether you are single, married, in a civil partnership, living with a partner, LGBTQ+, renting or owning your home 🏠

Did you know that in 2009, Families for Children approved the first gay couple in Scotland to adopt?

James and his husband Neil became Scotland's first same s*x couple to adopt, paving the way for so many more families to provide loving, stable homes for children who needed them.

Their story reminds us that what matters most is not what a family looks like, but the love, care and commitment.

This Pride Month 🌈, we're celebrating the individuals and families who have helped challenge barriers, create change and that every child deserves the chance to belong.

Could you change a child's life?

We urgently need adopters for Glasgow's children.
