Transport Secretary Stephen Flynn confirms plans to expand £2 bus fare cap across Scotland.

This will build on the current pilot in the Highlands and Islands, with early expansion planned for the Strathclyde region.

The Scottish Government's commitment to a nationwide cap will ensure that more people benefit from more affordable public transport.

Today we celebrate the 300 million free bus journeys made by under 22s since the launch of the Scottish Government scheme in January 2022.

Transport Secretary Stephen Flynn met some of the young people whose habits are being transformed by .

Free bus journeys are saving people money and helping them spend more time with friends and family. They are supporting a greener, more connected Scotland.

With over 80% of eligible young people already signed up, it's opening up opportunities across the country.
