Day 4 (Thursday) The penultimate day. Today was a bit dreich and the midges were out in force! The morning activity was the river crossing. We had to build a rope bridge and work collaboratively to get everyone across to the other side safely. This was followed by the Crate stack. Working in teams we all had roles to help our team build and climb crate boxes. Look how high we got! The evening concluded with Box activities. 50 tasks to be completed in an hour and we smashed it 👊!

Day 3 Outward Bound (Wednesday) Weather was fantastic.
Team challenges were the focus. We started out on the Loch this morning building a log raft capable of carrying the whole team safely. Success! We managed to paddle around the Jetty without getting soaked. The afternoon challenge was Jacobs ladder - climbing our way up suspended logs with our rope harnesses being supported by our peers giving us the confidence to keep going! The evening finished off chilled - a cookout on the banks of Loch Lochy including hot chocolate and marshmallows! ❤️

Outward Bound Day 2. Wet and windy but that didn’t dampened their spirits. Today's challenge was a walk in some of Scotlands most beautiful scenery. Then followed by a scramble up the rocky outcrop of Màm Beag before abseiling a 25metre rock face down. All young (and not so young) people absolutely smashed it! After dinner we have orienteering to look forward to! 🙌❤️

🌟 S1 Team Building at Auchengillan! 🌟

This week our S1 pupils have been enjoying an action-packed team building experience at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre!
The pupils have been working together, challenging themselves, building confidence and developing new friendships through a range of fun outdoor activities.
It has been fantastic to see everyone supporting one another, stepping outside their comfort zones and showing great teamwork! 👏
A brilliant experience for our S1s! 💙

We finished the week by recognising more of our amazing young people as they collected their Charter Champion rewards.

Each pupil received a reward for demonstrating our school charter and showing the values and behaviours that help make our school such a positive community.

Our Captain’s Corner was also available, providing an opportunity for pupils to share their views, raise any concerns and offer suggestions for how we can continue to improve our school.

Well done to all of our award winners – we are incredibly proud of you! 👏🌟
