⭐️ Level 1 Makaton Complete! ⭐️

A huge well done to another amazing group of ladies at Hyde N Seek Nursery! 👏

The ladies were brilliant and full of interaction during our group activities. There were also lots of engaging questions about particular signs that are supportive for their own playroom floors.

Everyone absolutely smashed it and is now proudly holding their Level 1 Makaton certificate, along with their very own Level 1 manual.

I am so grateful that Hyde N Seek Nursery have chosen me again as your Makaton tutor. 🩷

Good luck with all your fabulous signing as you take it forward into your playrooms. 👏

On Saturday we had a lovely RISE outing to the bowling alley 🎳💚🩷💛

A Great Saturday Outing 🩷💚💛

Today we enjoyed our monthly RISE outing and headed out for a game of bowling 🎳 Everyone had a brilliant time, and things got competitive with lots of friendly banter along the way 😂

🏆 Well done to Layton, who took the win with an amazing score of 86! 👏🎳

After bowling, we headed into the arcade for some more fun and games. Will beat Cassie at air hockey, while Steven took on Layton and came out on top! 🏒 We played a few more arcade games before heading to McDonald’s for a late lunch, which everyone enjoyed! 🍔🍟

It was a lovely way to spend a Saturday out in the community, having fun, building friendships and making memories together🩷💚💛

RISE Makaton Star of the Week 💚🩷💛

A huge well done to Leo for his fantastic Makaton skills during Tuesday’s session! 👏

Leo started attending our RISE Tuesday sessions a month ago and has been working so hard to learn new Makaton signs. During our weekly welcome circle, Leo has been practising signing his name with support. ✨

Leo comes to RISE every week with Nikki, and they have both been working hard together to learn new Makaton signs.

Leo, we are so proud of you! 🥰

Will’s Makaton skills have been developing week by week, with Will remembering lots of our key signs. Every week he is becoming more confident with the signs we are learning and practising together ✨
