Started the hand quilting on the landscape quilt over the weekend. It’s so true that the quilting makes the quilt. It adds substance, texture, movement and light. I love seeing the slow steady transformation under my needle.

With the darker evening fast approaching who doesn’t love a bit of moon gazing. Wrapped up in one of my quilts enjoying some peace. This little fox certainly does. I’m looking forward to all the beautiful autumn colours.

Good morning lovelies. The landscape quilt top is completed. I am going to pause for a day or two and give everyone the opportunity to purchase it as a quilt top. Where you can quilt it yourself or send off to a long arm quilter. You can also reserve it and allow me to hand quilt it. Lots of options available.

Starting to take shape. These fabrics are so so pretty. I can’t help but think about the sky and the land while working with them. More to come soon.

I have more Christmas decorations, it feels ok since schools went back yesterday so we must be in autumn now. Which means we are just being organised and purposeful. Star gazer in purple and Croft house. £7 each plus postage
