Happy Birthday to Sir David Attenborough!

To mark Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, we are sharing a special memory from the Special Collections and Archives.

Sir David was awarded an Honorary DSc by Prof Chris Arme on Tuesday 1st July 1986 at the King’s Hall, Stoke. He later returned to Keele in 2019 to open the Life Sciences teaching and research laboratories named in his honour.

We are proud to reflect on this memorable connection as we celebrate this special milestone!

Day 2 of "A Most Eggstrordinary Eggscapade" only saw one team play, so thanks to "R and R" who didn't quite manage to complete it in time, but it was still good to see them! 🤗

Lots of games in the pipeline tomorrow, so we could see a shift in the leaderboard. 🤩

After the first day of "A Most Eggstrordinary Eggscapade", we have one team in the lead. Congratulations to "Breakout Queens" who managed to complete the game with 18 secs remaining out of 45 mins. 🥳

Huge thanks to "Phab Four" and "Arson Ducks" who didn't quite manage to complete in time. 🙏

Pop by our Campus Library display to discover books and poems by local authors, explore the history of Staffordshire, and enjoy fiction set in the local area.

And don’t forget to browse the Local Collection. With around 6,000 books, pamphlets, journals, and directories, it’s a fantastic resource for readers, researchers, and history enthusiasts alike.
