📍 Welham Road, Norton
📅 9am on Friday 23 October until the evening of Saturday 24 October
🤝 Planned in collaboration with North Yorkshire Council

🚧 A temporarily road closure to part of Welham Road, outside No. 42 will be in place. After this, the closure will then be lifted and multi-way traffic lights will be in place at Park Road and Welham Road

📢 Loss of Gas Supply Update
📍 Meadowcroft Road, Middlesbrough

👷‍♂️ Gas supply was restored to all affected properties where we were able to gain access on Sunday 18 October

💧 The source of the water has now been found and the repair to the pipe is complete. Teams remain on site to pump the remaining water from the mains, after which reinstatement work will begin to return the road surface to normal

👷‍♂️ Gas supply was restored to all affected properties where we were able to gain access on Sunday 18 October.

💧 When water gets into our gas mains, it can make its way into appliances or service pipes (the small pipe that connects your property to the gas main in the street and to the meter).

🔔Our teams are on site this afternoon in the TS6 area supporting customers after water in the gas mains caused a loss of supply to 63 properties.

🔔Hot plates and heaters are available from the NGN team on Meadowcroft Road with shower facilities available at Eston Leisure Centre.

📢 Essential Gas Mains Upgrade
📍 Bywell, Stocksfield
🤝 Planned collaboration with Northumberland County Council

🚦From Monday 19 October, the B6309 will be temporarily closed for eight weeks, between Stocksfield Station car park and the opposite side of Bywell Bridge.

🚧 A signed diversion will be in place for road users, while pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Parking at the train station will not be affected, and residents and businesses will continue to have access throughout the work.

📢Tomorrow is Carents Day – a day for everyone who helps care for an ageing parent - and it’s not too late to get involved.

This year’s theme is ‘You Matter Too’. The programme of free online sessions for Carents Room Members will give people who care for someone else the chance to focus on their own wellbeing.

There’s still time to join. Sessions will cover a range of topics including juggling work and care, protecting your sleep, supporting your parent, legal planning and more.

Carents Room Members can log in to book a session, and new members can sign up online in minutes and book a session.
