156 Regt are based across the North West of England, with locations in Liverpool, the Wirral, Salford and Lancaster. The history of our Regiment can be traced back to the formation of the Army Reserve in 1908. Since, we've undergone many changes to become what we are today; a highly flexible Regiment that can provide logistic capability in support of our Regular counterparts wherever and whenever
it is needed. The Regiment has deployed on operations to Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Cyprus, as well as conducting various overseas exercises in locations such as Belize, Canada, America, Germany, Norway, and the Falkland Islands. While our Regiment specializes in producing highly qualified logistics specialists, we also offer other trades. Becoming a Chef, Clerk, Physical Training Instructor or Medic are just some of the other roles available to our soldiers. Throughout a career with us, we also pay our soldiers to gain other CV enhancing skills. Various driving licenses, English and Math qualifications, first aid skills and leadership courses are just some of the opportunities available to serving personnel.
