‼️ Make Chingford’s Voice Heard Tomorrow!

Future Waltham Forest Forum, St Edmund’s Church, Larkswood Road, E4 9DS, Wednesday 30th, 7pm-9pm (doors open at 6pm).

We have a new Council administration in Waltham Forest and they have set aside a significant budget for a consultation process with residents called Future Waltham Forest. As part of that a forum event will take place in Chingford tomorrow.

We want everyone in to take full advantage of this to tell them what matters most to us. We need to ensure that the voices of Chingford and Highams Park are heard loud and clear by the Council in this process.

The Green administration will be using Council funds to pay anybody that attends £30. Residents were asked to register, however for other forums in the borough the deputy leader of the Council has encouraged people to just turn up - we can only assume the same favour will be shown to Chingford residents!

We look forward to seeing a strong turnout from the community to ensure our local priorities are heard. ‼️

‼️ ‼️ We pleased to announce that the resurfacing work on the footway between Withy Mead and Weale Road recently commenced. ‼️ ‼️

Please note during these works parking has been temporarily suspended in sections, please adhere to the signage. Temporary parking restrictions take place between 8am-5pm.

When we got elected we made a promise to serve you as best as we could.

As your dedicated Councillors we listened to residents and we are delighted that we made this happen.

Update: Water leak in Normanton Park

Good news I can confirm that the water leak in Normanton Park (opposite Heathcote School) is now being repaired.

We reported this issue to Thames Water last week and are pleased to see work underway.
