πŸš”πŸš” Neighbourhood Policing Team 1 - Inspector Devalle πŸš”πŸš” North

Introduction – Neighbourhood Inspector Rachel Devalle

I am Rachel Devalle, your newly appointed Neighbourhood Inspector for Clayton, Newton Heath, Miles Platting, Ancoats, and Beswick.

I have proudly served as a Police Officer for 27 years, gaining extensive experience across both Response and Neighbourhood Policing. Most recently, I worked within the Spotlight Integrated Offender Management Unit, focusing on managing and reducing reoffending.

I am now based at Central Park Police Station and am very much looking forward to getting out into the community, meeting residents, and working together to address local priorities.

I hope to see you at our forthcoming PACT (Police and Community Together) meetings, where we can discuss any concerns and continue building strong relationships within our neighbourhoods.

πŸš”πŸš” Neighbourhood Policing Team 2 - Inspector Pickavance πŸš”πŸš” North

During a proactive operation, officers from Team 2 observed a male riding a surron through a heavily pedestrianised area, causing significant anti-social behaviour and posing a risk to members of the public. The rider was wearing a balaclava, concealing his identity.

Officers detained the male at the scene. Checks revealed that he held no valid driving licence and no insurance for the vehicle.

The surron was seized under Section 165A of the Road Traffic Act 1988. The male was dealt with for the relevant traffic offences.

πŸš”πŸš” Neighbourhood Policing Team 2 - Inspector Pickavance πŸš”πŸš” North

This morning, PCSO Angela was on patrol in Harpurhey when she came across a vehicle causing an obstruction. While a Fixed Penalty Notice was being issued, the owner returned, and the vehicle was promptly moved.

Please remember to park responsibly and consider the needs of pedestrians, wheelchair users, and other road users. Obstructive parking can make it difficult and unsafe for others to get around.
Thank you for helping to keep our community safe and accessible.
